Korres Wild Rose 24-hour Moisturising & Brightening Cream

I had heard so much about this moisturiser and how amazing it was meant to be, so I decided to give it a whirl as it sounded like it would match my skin well, plus I have always really loved Korres as a brand. Korres is a Greek brand specialising in hair, skin and face care, they are dedicated to using all natural active ingredients. Their packaging is eco-friendly and I just love how they put the expiration dates of their products on the boxes in which the products come in so there's no guessing game over when your moisturiser went out of date.

When I first started using the moisturiser I have to admit I was a little unsure about it, I just couldn't really get on with the consistency of the cream as I felt it left my skin quite greasy and didn't really give a good base for me to apply my primer and foundation onto. I found that my makeup would literally just slide off my face by around 11.00 in the morning and this is just not ideal at all. My skin varies from day to day from being normal/dry to normal/oily and I would only ever use this cream on my more dry days so I couldn't really understand why it was making my skin so greasy. However, I decided to start using the cream at night time as it wouldn't matter too much if it made my skin a little greasy and I wasn't just going to disregard a moisturiser which I paid £20.00 for. After using it for a couple of weeks as my night cream I absolutely fell in love, the cream isn't heavy which I like as it doesn't sit on my skin throughout the night and with it containing wild rose oil it smells incredible which really helped me to drift off to sleep.

The cream contains Phytic acid which is an antioxidant and helps to brighten the skin whilst fighting signs of ageing. I can honestly say that my skin is noticeably brighter after using this cream and has a really lovely glow when I wake up in the morning. Whilst this moisturiser is not intended to be a night cream I much prefer to use it in my evening routine, I just think with it's repairing elements such as the wild rose oil and vitamin c these ingredients help to heal and repair the skin so the idea of letting it sink in over night really appeals to me.
Overall I really like this moisturiser but I don't think I will re purchase as I have other night creams which I do prefer and as previously mentioned I don't like this cream as a day cream, but I think for someone who has dry skin rather than normal/dry skin would find this product to be really lovely.
Have you tried this cream? What are your thoughts? Do you think it's worth the hype?
